If you've ever felt depressed due to job search failure, insecurity in your career, just feeling like you're not good enough - you're not alone.
These were the struggles the 50+ people in our space voiced out at the “Empowering Resilience: A Mental Health and Self-Care Workshop” fronted by the soul-nourishing Elle Adda- Lane
Moderated by the enigmatic Peggy Tng , on the panel were Mag EuaFua Emily Ortega and Elle Adda- Lane who shared their vulnerabilities in terms of burnout and key insights on how they overcame them.
Elle taught us that empowering resilience isn’t overcoming our weaknesses by toughening up; it’s about embracing and accepting your weaknesses and vulnerabilities. And that is strength.
Like Mag EuaFua said, there were barely any dry eyes towards the end of the workshop – everyone was tearing up.
